Situated in Mountain View County are five urban centers; the Town of Carstairs, the Town of Didsbury, the Town of Olds, the Town of Sundre, and the Village of Cremona. Each vibrant community has unique offerings and landscapes, boasting great shopping, dining, and recreational activities for all ages. Carstairs is our most southern urban partner, situated 30 minutes north of the City of Calgary, and home to over 4000 residents. This small town has big character, with a charming downtown boasting a wide range of dining options, markets filled with local goods, second-hand and antique shops, and much more. At the center of Carstairs sits a beautiful community park space to enjoy baseball, tennis, pickleball, basketball, a playground, and a splash park! A short drive from Calgary filled with the charm of an authentic small town.

The Village of Cremona sits amid the rolling hills of Alberta. It is located along Highway 22 and Highway 580. Filled with the peace of being nestled amongst the trees, a world away from the hustle and bustle, yet less than an hour's drive from Calgary. The village is vibrant and surrounded by nature, allowing the perfect getaway for your outdoor adventures- hiking, biking, fishing, snow-shoeing- whatever is your go-to activity, let Cremona be your go-to place. 

The Town of Didsbury is "The Place to Grow", and we say it's also "The Place to Go." Filled with rich history and charm, Didsbury offers unique shopping experiences, and a wealth of community amenities, amid the picturesque backdrop of an enchanting small town. So picturesque, it could be on television- and it is! Didsbury is a growing hub for film in Alberta, with popular shows like Under the Banner of Heaven and Wynonna Earp, and movies like Land and Let Him Go, filmed there. This historic gem of a community is waiting to be discovered.

The Town of Olds is filled with innovation and opportunity. It uniquely ties its agricultural heritage with leading-edge technology. Olds is a community of artists and athletes, technicians and teachers, innovators and entrepreneurs. This energetic hub is home to big box stores and charming local businesses alike. Its quaint downtown offers many shops and amenities- from shopping the latest fashion trends or Western wear to flowing through a yoga class to a world of diverse dining options for whenever hunger strikes. Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Sundre is often referred to as a hidden gem. With mountains to the west, rivers to the east, agricultural land everywhere in between, there is truly something for everyone. Sundre is not only the perfect getaway for the rustic nature lover but also boasts arts and culture, as well as an abundance of sports and recreation. Sundre is located 25 minutes west of Olds, and if arriving by car isn't your style, it is also home to the Sundre Airport, perfectly located to fly in for 18 holes of golf at one of three surrounding golf courses or grab a burger at any of the local, delicious restaurants.
